Line 1
This is an example of the numbering we've been using to date so that each rip in each case gets a unique number. The first three X's are for your personal code. (Anj will be assigning personal codes so if you don't find yours on the list, note her.) The first six 0's are for the date in this format monthdayyear. So today, July 29, 2007 would be 072907. The 0 after the dash stands for the number of the ripped piece. For example, the first one you find on today's day and using Anj's code would be ANJ072907-1. The last three X's stand for the case code. The Photocasket site is PHC, Zedge is ZDG, Image Shack is IMS and so on. Again, note anjaleck or RATF for your code if you don't have it already.
Line 2
After the "original art" put the artist's name. Please use this format :devusername:.
After the artist's name put the title of the work.
Line 3
(Update - since we are all using this form now, it is not necessary to include the link to the original art - IF you are sure the thumbcode is correct.)
EDIT - added line here. This is only to be added if there is a print available. If no print is available on dA, please do not include this line.
Line 4
If you found the deviation, copy the thumb code here. Please use the format :thumbcode: only on this line.
Line 5
Copy and paste the link of the ripping site here. If there is more than one section on the site, please add the section. Example.... Ripped art in xxxxx section-->link Please do not use a space after the -->. This might look weird when typing up the report, but when posted in the journal a space causes a break and the journal doesn't look right.
Line 6
Only include this if you have a screen shot. If you don't have the ability to make screen shots or prefer not to do this step, someone else can be assigned to this after you've sent in the links.
The three dots at the end are not necessary when doing a report. I add them in the journals to keep a separation between one report and another.
If in doubt about any of this, please take a look at the newest journals. They have all been reworked by cmptrwhz and look wonderful. The slight change in the format of this report is due to the new CSS.
